Turkey eSIM Price Comparison – FastAlo from $1.49

This page compares the published price of a FastAlo Turkey eSIM against the list prices of other travel eSIM providers, plus the network and activation details that actually affect your trip. Note the plan types differ: FastAlo sells fixed data bundles (you pay for GB and use them at your own pace), while Airalo and Holafly currently sell day-based unlimited plans for Turkey (you pay per day, subject to fair-use). Prices for other providers are taken from their own public pricing pages on the date shown and can change at any time.

Turkey eSIM published prices (USD)

Other providers' prices are list prices copied from their own public pricing pages on 21 August 2026.

ProviderPlanPrice (USD)
FastAlo1 GB / 7 daysfrom $1.49
FastAlo5 GB / 30 days$3.99
FastAlo10 GB / 30 days$5.49
FastAlo20 GB / 30 days$8.99
FastAlo50 GB / 30 days$19.99
AiraloUnlimited / 7 days$24.50
HolaflyUnlimited / 7 days$27.50

Because FastAlo prices per GB rather than per day, a large bundle can cost less than a week of unlimited: 50 GB valid for 30 days is $19.99, below the 7-day unlimited list prices above. That comparison only holds if your usage fits inside the bundle — genuinely heavy users are better served by an unlimited plan.

Networks in Turkey

Turkey has three national operators — Turkcell, Vodafone Türkiye and Türk Telekom — all running widespread 4G LTE (marketed locally as 4.5G). FastAlo Turkey eSIMs attach to Turkish partner networks, so coverage follows a national operator footprint. A practical advantage of an eSIM here: Turkey's IMEI registration rule, which blocks foreign handsets used with a local Turkish SIM after roughly 120 days, does not apply to roaming eSIM profiles.

Activation on arrival

Install the eSIM over Wi-Fi before you fly — Istanbul Airport, Sabiha Gökçen and Antalya all have free airport Wi-Fi if you install on arrival instead. The profile downloads once and activates automatically when the phone registers on a Turkish network. Buying an eSIM before departure also avoids the airport SIM counters, which are typically far more expensive than city-centre prices.

Where coverage is strong

Coverage is strong across Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Bodrum and the main tourist corridors, including Cappadocia's towns. Remote parts of eastern Anatolia, mountain roads and some coastal stretches drop to slower speeds or no signal — that applies to every eSIM and to local Turkish SIM cards equally.

Frequently asked questions

Which Turkish network does a FastAlo eSIM use?

FastAlo Turkey eSIMs connect to Turkish partner networks — Turkcell, Vodafone Türkiye or Türk Telekom depending on the plan. All three are national 4G LTE networks.

Does Turkey's IMEI registration rule affect a travel eSIM?

No. The IMEI registration requirement applies to foreign phones used with a Turkish local SIM beyond roughly 120 days. A roaming travel eSIM is not affected, which is one reason visitors prefer eSIMs for short trips.

Can I use a Turkey eSIM for calls?

FastAlo eSIMs are data-only. Your normal SIM stays active for calls and SMS, and you can use WhatsApp or FaceTime over the eSIM data connection. WhatsApp is widely used in Turkey.

How much data do I need for a week in Turkey?

Navigation, translation and messaging typically use 0.5–1 GB per day. Travellers who stream or upload lots of photos should plan for more; FastAlo Turkey plans run from 1 GB bundles up to 50 GB.

When were the competitor prices on this page checked?

The date is shown next to the comparison table. Prices are copied from each provider's own public pricing page on that date and can change at any time — always check the provider's site before buying.
